This figure shows a 3D model of AI agent search patterns while solving for the minimum of the Langermann function. The color changes based on the passing of a certain number of epochs in time in order to show the progression of the agents. These agents are using a model that allows them to interact with each other and their environment based on characteristics defined by a 1/30 million genetic code. All of the agents (a few dozen) are placed randomly at the start. At each point in time the agents make decisions, and interesting groupings and patterns form which is our primary research focus. The test functions are trivial and easily solved with many other methods including a random walk method sometimes used for comparison as the least intelligent level of decision making.
